Enterprises at Vicmead Hunt Club is a full
service equestrian facility focused on training both the
horse and the rider. LRJ is a training, show and sales
barn with an emphasis on Hunter / Jumpers.
The equestrian facility is spread over 40 acres of paddocks and riding areas with an indoor arena, an outdoor ring, an outside course with natural obstacles and access to many miles of trails. The stables and riding areas co-exist with, but are separate from, other Hunt Club facilities which include a private club house, swim club and racquet club. Vicmead Hunt Club |
Laurie Jakubauskas, the
primary trainer at the facility, is an experienced Grand Prix
level rider currently competing successfully on the east coast and the
Florida circuit. Laurie has also participated in the USET Developing
Riders program.
While Laurie shows quite actively and is frequently away from the
barn, she is Katherin Hewitt serves as Laurie's full-time Assistant Trainer and barn manager. Katherin joined LRJ in 2006. In addition to her thorough knowledge of both jumping and dressage, Katherin's positive attitude and strong work ethic give our horses and students the confidence to continue improving and perform at their best." |
